Emerson, Lake and Palmer "Pictures at an Exhibition" (1971)
Hmm, so the grandiose, overblown face of the 70s is really coming to the
fore. I'm complaining, mind. I'm loving E,L&P, their
musicianship, their experimentation and their no-holds-barred approach
to music.
I love Mussorgsky's compositions too, so E,L&P going to town on his music in
this live album (not that I'm always a fan of live albums) was
thoroughly enjoyable. Again, that bass sound *drool*.
