James Taylor "Sweet Baby James" (1970)
Another one of those ones where I listen to it and think "yeah this is
nice, but it doesn't blow my mind". Taylor (and the album) is at his best
when he gets intimate with just him on guitar accompanying his light tenor
vocal, but some of the other, more fully orchestrated tracks are not without their charms.
The album closer "Suite for 20G" is great. It goes from light folky
ballad to brassy upbeat track.
