The MC5 "Kick out the jams" (1969) - got it
I really liked the title track for this so ended up buying the album
'sound unheard'. I was convinced that the rest of the record would live up to that
standard (or at the very least that a few tracks would) but yeah, nah, they're not doing anything
that Cream and Blue Cheer didn't already do better.
Aside from (a) the fact that the title track has been covered a lot and
(b) the whole revolutionary, hippy aspect to them, I'm not convinced
that they necessarily deserved a place on this list.
